Anthony Zinonos is addicted to collecting paper. His work is a product of his collection, incorporating printmaking, collage, and photo imaging.
Anthony’s work tends to be minimalist, have a large fields of a limited color palette, and one focal point in the image. Aside from this, Anthony has also made his work somewhat absurd and given it a sense of humor. He has a series of dogs superimposed on people’s heads, someone’s headless body blasting pills, and using images for what they weren’t originally intended for.
Anthony also has a series (that I’ve seen on a few blogs recently) entitled Found Colors. I look at the series and am reminded of someone that doesn’t have much, so they organize what little they have, as if each piece is very precious.
