Maren Miller is a cre­ator of objects, com­bin­ing con­struc­tion and paint­ing to cre­ate over-sized pieces that are installed.

I like the com­bi­na­tion of 3D and 2D — paint­ing and sculp­ture. Though dif­fer­ent media, it all feels like it belong together. It is, at the same time, abstract and representational.

I found out about Maren’s work through The Hills gallery, located in Chicago. She will be show­ing her work there from Feb­ru­ary 12 through Feb­ru­ary 26.
