eyrapport #3: Long Form

An eyrap­port (my term for exhi­bi­tion cat­a­log) accom­pa­nies each show. Doing this pro­vides addi­tion­al con­text for an exhi­bi­tion, some­thing that I think is impor­tant. It also gives me the oppor­tu­ni­ty to invite dif­fer­ent writ­ers (who are out­side of the illus­tra­tion world) to par­tic­i­pate. They speak on the themes present in the show.

The newest eyrap­port, issue #3, goes along with the cur­rent exhi­bi­tion, Long Form. It includes writ­ing quotes from the illus­tra­tors, themes and tra­di­tion of long form illus­tra­tion (like the Bayeux Tapes­try!), and also teach­es you how to make a Chi­nese Fin­ger trap (because, why not?).

My favorite part about run­ning eyra is that because it’s all online, so I get to learn new things about inter­ac­tiv­i­ty on the web. For this issue, I want­ed you to be able to read each page full screen and easy to nav­i­gate. You use key­board con­trols to do this. (If you are on a touch device, there is also an option for you as well.)
