Giselle Quinto Embroiders Colorfully Detailed and Fabulous Hairstyles

I spent half of my week­end with sinus woes, going through a box of kleenex on Sun­day. These embroi­deries by Giselle Quin­to are giv­ing me life, though! I love how she mix­es the intri­cate detail­ing of the col­or­ful hair with the sim­pler back stitch. They play off each oth­er, cre­at­ing a nice visu­al push and pull—your eye is intrigued, but not over­whelmed. Plus, Giselle crafts por­traits of women with tat­toos. Body art + embroi­dery com­bine two of my favorite things.
