Vicki Ling shared her work with me through my Twitter and Tumblr, and I’m so glad she did. Her carefully constructed monochromatic drawings evoke a surreal, ethereal feel. Vicki’s landscapes, composed of waves and flora, are often contained within tight, straight-lined areas. Contrast is important her work — not only in the way its rendered, but between hard and soft.
