If you’ve been a reader of this blog over the past 6 months, you’ve no doubt heard about Pìccolo, a venture dedicated to illustrated products with my grad school cohort and best pal, Lisa Perrin. Earlier in the year, we launched the Pìccolo Print Project and successfully funded it via Kickstarter, with help from ya’ll.
We’ve just finished up our second project, To Market, a series of tote bags from illustrators Tuesday Bassen, Jessica HJ Lee, Caleb Luke Lin, Karolin Schnoor, and Lesley Barnes. In a couple of weeks we’ll be debuting them at Baltimore’s Artscape Festival and in our new, shiny, online shop!
This week, Lisa and I are in New York meeting some of our favorite illustrators and seeing where they work. And, all this week I’ll be chronicling our trip! So, stay tuned!
