I found the work of Kristina Collantes through designer friend Erin Zingre. Complex, colorful, and even a bit trippy at times, Kristina’s illustrations work so well thanks to her expert grasp on the formal aspects of composing an image. Even those these are unbelievable situations, they are made more believable by good drawing and fine details that demonstrating an understanding of form.
Kristina’s illustrations are grounded in a reality we know, but I love that in each image, she takes us to another world or alternate reality.
