Dana Bechert’s ceramics planters, plates, and funnels are hand-crafted pieces whose intricate patterns create simple beauty. She adorns her limited-color objects with quirky geometric drawing, where lines aren’t perfectly straight and triangles are different sizes. I love seeing this – it’s like I’m looking at a stream of consciousness translated on a pot.
