Via Thumbtack Press’s Tumblr, I discovered the illustrations of Ville Savimaa. Originally a graphic designer, he finds illustrating his preferred way of expressing himself.
His character-driven works employ soft colors and curvy lines, and my eye gets lost when moving through these images. The shading and drawing is very viscous. Everyone feels like they are on the verge softening and melting.
