These works are rid­dled with details. The more details, the more I know about a char­ac­ter. Things like piz­za on the bed, first place medals, and an emp­ty bot­tle of vod­ka add to a rich back sto­ry. Good char­ac­ter design does­n’t have to just be the details of a char­ac­ter, but the envi­ron­ment they inhabit.
