I made my way to SPX this past weekend, and wasn’t disappointed. The amount of cool things I see and talented people in one single (large) room is always amazing.
One table I really liked had the work of Hye Jin Chung, a New York based illustrator, fresh outta grad school like myself. Her work is a mix of drawing and collage. To articulate a part of the drawing, she’ll make marks on top of the paper, creating a push and pull of shape and line.
