If your home is anything like mine, you have a curious cat that LOVES jumping on your desk and counters and will generally put her nose into anything you’re doing. It makes for an extra challenge when you’re painting. You might want to leave your pigments out… but not if little paws will be in them. This is just one of the reasons why I adore paint palettes by Tramai Ceramics. Marina, the maker, creates animal-shaped palettes whose faces act as a cover for your paint–helping the pigment to stay wetter longer and also keeping it out of sight from pets and kids. Many of them even double as water bowls, too.
In addition to ceramic palettes, Maria has brush rests, calligraphy kits, and dishware that are all shaped like animals. Shop her Etsy to collect them all and have a menagerie in your home!
